Biography

The 24-year-old spent last season with Maidenhead United, making 13 appearances in the National League before joining Worthing on loan in January.

Carvalho arrived at York Road last summer following an impressive campaign with Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian Premier Division. He scored 17 goals and provided seven assists in 30 appearances, earning the Supporters’ Player of the Year award and the admiration of the Finchley faithful.

A product of Charlton Athletic’s youth system, Ruben also featured for Basildon United prior to his standout spell at Wingate & Finchley.
