John joins the Stones after spending last season at Slough Town, having previously made the move from Walton & Hersham.
During his time with the Swans, he played a key role in their promotion from the Isthmian South Central Division, via the play-offs. His team went on to finish seventh in the Southern Premier South — just outside the play-off places.
Under the expert guidance of Scott Davies, the all-action midfielder successfully stepped up to National League South football, making 46 appearances in all competitions and scoring nine goals.
Having experienced the atmosphere at Gallagher Stadium last season, John is eager to get started.
