Goalkeeper Nyall Kendall has been called up by the Guyana Football Federation for a training camp and three-day international tournament in December. It’s the same federation that Reiss has represented in the CONCACAF Nations League.
Nyall joined his hometown club this summer. Not only has he made the number one position his own, he was also named vice-captain for the 2024/25 season.
His football journey began in 2018, the year of the Russian hosted FIFA World Cup. He’d recently moved house, and his uncle bought him a goal for their garden. The footballing love story began, and that September he joined Bearsted FC as their under 9s goalkeeper. He had a brilliant first season, picking up the captain’s armband and claiming Manager’s Player of the Year.
He’s played for several clubs in recent years, before arriving at the Gallagher for the current campaign.
Under-15 team manager Roy Massey said: “Needless to say, Nyall is overjoyed, not only at this exceptional opportunity but also at the support and encouragement he has received from his coaches, teammates, and secondary school.”
Congratulations Nyall and all the best in December.
