Muhammadu is no stranger to the division, having previously played for Havant & Waterlooville, where he scored 31 goals in 71 appearances before joining Maidstone on loan. He later signed for Worthing at the start of the 2024/25 season, netting 13 goals as the Rebels narrowly missed out on the league title by a single point and lost out to the Stones in the play-off eliminator.

The 28-year-old moved across the Irish Sea last summer to join League of Ireland Premier Division side Waterford. But home is where the heart is, and upon his return to England, he held talks with George Elokobi and agreed terms for this season and next.
