Women
SECWFL: Premier Sun 23 November The Welfare Ground
Betteshanger
Maidstone Utd
14:00

Maidstone United Women return to league action this weekend after a two-week break.

That break was filled with county and league cup fixtures, where the Stones progressed in both competitions in emphatic fashion—scoring 19 goals and conceding just one across the two games.

In the league, Maidstone are playing catch-up, with two to four games in hand on the teams around them. Their record so far is perfect: four wins from four, 22 goals scored, and only two conceded.

League leaders Tonbridge Angels, who have played three more games than Maidstone, remain unbeaten and will be keeping an eye on the Stones’ progress.

Betteshanger Welfare currently sit in the bottom three, having collected just four points from a possible 24. The two sides met earlier this month at the Gallagher, where Maidstone were made to work hard for a 2-0 win.

  • Kick-off: 14:00 at The Welfare Ground (CT14 9HR)
  • Parking: Available at the rear of the clubhouse
  • Refreshments: Café Pariz will be open, serving food and drinks
