Maidstone United’s senior academy side will begin their title defence this September, following a triumphant 2024/25 season that saw them crowned champions of the National League Football Academy South.
The team secured the title in April with a 2-1 victory over Southend United, finishing five points clear of second-placed Eastleigh.
It was a historic season for Billy Jones’s side, who also retained both the National League Cup and the Southern League Cup titles.
As the new school term kicks off, Maidstone will face a competitive lineup in the upcoming season, featuring Aldershot Town, Boreham Wood, Dagenham & Redbridge, Dartford, Dorking Wanderers, Eastleigh, Maidenhead United, Oxford City, Slough Town, Southend United, Sutton United, Wealdstone, Welling United, and Woking.
In addition, a second Maidstone academy team will compete in the National League Youth Alliance Division B. Their opponents are Dover Athletic, Eastbourne Borough, Ebbsfleet United, Folkestone Invicta, Hollands & Blair, Tonbridge Angels, Welling United, Whitstable Town, and Worthing.
