They secured their place by beating Bredhurst CofE Primary 2-1 in a compelling final held at the Gallagher Stadium.

Thirty-three teams, representing primary schools from Maidstone and the surrounding area, took part in the tournament. Based on a World Cup-style format, the event featured group-stage matches followed by knockout rounds.

The tournament was sponsored by Fileder – specialists in high-performance water filtration and treatment solutions – headquartered at the 20/20 Business Park in Allington.

Last month, South Borough Primary School won the girls’ tournament.

Both winning schools will now receive Maidstone United kits, supplied by Europa Sports & Awards and featuring the Fileder brand, to represent the Stones in the next stage of the Under-11 competition.

The tournaments were organised by Stones in the Community, Maidstone United’s official charity.
