Maidstone United under-23s moved up to third in the SCEFL Development Eastern Division following a commanding 6-1 victory over league leaders Margate.

The Stones took control early, and their dominance was rewarded after 15 minutes when Cameron Illing netted his first goal of the season with a well-placed strike from the edge of the box.

Maidstone continued to press, with Mark Boruk bagging a brace and Darlington Aguagwa adding another to cap off a perfect first-half performance.

The momentum carried into the second half, as substitutes Rodney Botuli and Delvane Kattah both found the net to seal the win and maintain Maidstone’s 100% start to the season.
