Register now for a place at the Maidstone United Football Academy and attend our open evening at the Gallagher Stadium on Friday 17 October.

Based at the home of the Stones, the club and Cornwallis Academy offer a two-year programme that combines academic sports studies with football training, matches, and industry-recognised qualifications.

Train and play like a full-time footballer at our state-of-the-art venue. The BTEC Sport course is an ideal pathway into employment in the sports industry or progression to university.

Head of Academy Billy Jones said: “This is a great opportunity to swap school for the stadium and join our academy. Following our league and cup successes over the past two seasons, we’re expecting a lot of interest – so please register as soon as possible.

“We’re now in our fourteenth year at the Gallagher, and the opportunity to learn, train, and play here is as popular as ever.. Whether your interest lies in playing, coaching, or working behind the scenes, this course is a fantastic introduction to the industry and the many opportunities it offers.”

Two academy squads compete in the National League Football Academy and the National League U19 Alliance – featuring academy teams backed by professional and semi-professional clubs. Students also represent Maidstone United in the prestigious FA Youth Cup.

Last season, the senior academy team made history by winning a treble:

  • National League Football Academy South Division
  • National League Football Academy Cup (retained)
  • National League Southern Football Academy Cup (retained)

Students also gain practical experience through coaching and work placements with the Player Development Centre, Soccer Schools, and community projects led by the club’s charity, Stones in the Community. An optional refereeing course is also available alongside the main programme.
