Maidstone United Youth are proud to announce that KD Drainage & Asbestos has expanded its partnership with the club, becoming the main sponsor of the junior and youth section for the next two seasons.
The agreement, made with KD Drainage & Asbestos Director Craig Knight, will see the local company exclusively sponsor all boys’ teams from Under-7s to Under-16s. As part of the deal, the entire section will wear matching training and matchday kits featuring the KD brand. These kits mirror those worn by the Stones’ first team, helping to build a stronger identity across the club.
Ed Spinks, Chair of Maidstone United Youth, said: “This sponsorship represents a significant step forward in strengthening the connection between the youth section and the wider club. We are extremely grateful to Craig Knight and the entire KD team for their commitment and support.”
Craig Knight, Director of KD Drainage & Asbestos Ltd, added: “Maidstone United has always been a special club for me. Not only is it my local team, but my son had an incredible time playing for Maidstone United Youth, and now our Operations Director’s son is enjoying his football journey at the club.
What many people don’t realise is that most of the staff at clubs like Maidstone United are volunteers. They give their time and energy tirelessly, without financial reward, to ensure the club operates at the highest standard – especially at the youth level. Their dedication creates a safe, supportive environment where children can enjoy football and reach their full potential. So, when Jody Ricketts from the club approached me about this opportunity, I was immediately keen to get involved.
“As a company, we’ve been involved in sponsorship at Maidstone for several seasons, and we’re proud to now be sponsoring the boys’ youth section – from Under-7s to Under-16s – for the next two years.
“We wish everyone at Maidstone United the very best for the season, and we can’t wait to see the kids proudly wearing their impressive new kits.”
