Maidstone United have progressed to the third qualifying round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup following a dominant 5-1 victory over Richmond & Kew.

The Stones started brightly and took the lead in the ninth minute through the tireless Maddie Dale. Tori Campbell’s side created further chances to extend their advantage, but the score remained 1-0 at the break.

The second goal came just before the hour mark, with Kylie Manktelow netting the first of her two goals. Georgia Pearch added a third shortly after, before Manktelow struck again with 20 minutes remaining.

Player-manager Tori Campbell rounded off the scoring with a fifth goal in the closing minutes.

The draw for the next round is expected to be published on Monday lunchtime.
