This Sunday, the Gallagher Stadium will host the MindStones 6-a-side football tournament, bringing together sixteen teams from various organisations.
The event aims to raise awareness about mental health and highlight the important work being done to reduce stigma.
Attendees will have the chance to network and learn about a range of projects that support men’s mental and physical wellbeing.
The tournament’s mission is to:
- Increase awareness of available support,
- Encourage open conversations through community-led initiatives,
- Help prevent suicide by promoting early intervention and support.
Entry is free for spectators, and donations are welcome at the gate. There will also be opportunities throughout the day to contribute to the participating organisations.
Refreshments will be available from the Spitfire Lounge, offering hot and cold drinks and snacks. For something heartier, head to the Town End Cut n’ Grill for hot food.
