The 20-year-old came through Leyton Orient’s youth system and made his senior debut for the O’s in an EFL Trophy victory over Southampton under-21s in September 2021. He later made his league debut as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Colchester United in March 2022.

Jephte initially joined the Stones on a one-month loan to provide attacking versatility on the wing. He thrived under the guidance of George Elokobi, leading to an extension of his loan until the end of the 2023/24 season.

For the 2024/25 campaign, Tanga signed with Ebbsfleet United, where he made 19 appearances.
