Volunteers’ Week is currently celebrating the fantastic contribution that millions of people make across the UK.

Here at the Gallagher, the club are fortunate to have a fantastic band of volunteers who run the community section, coach youth and disability teams, manage the club shop, commentate, film, photograph and report on matches and lots more besides.

Bill said: “The world would be a poorer place if it wasn’t for volunteers and we are very lucky to have some of the best at our club.

“I am always wary of naming individuals as you inevitably miss someone out, so to all those who give their time freely at Maidstone United I want to say a big thank you on behalf of the directors and everyone at the club.

“We really appreciate all the time and effort you contribute to making the club the best it can be and hope you’ll continue to do so next season and beyond.
