The 27-year-old defender first joined the Stones last October, having left Bolton Wanderers at the end of the previous season.

The imposing centre half, who came through the youth ranks at Arsenal and West Brom, has made 12 appearances since arriving at the Gallagher and will link up with Sam Bone and George Fowler for the forthcoming campaign.
